Schmitz, James. Born to Eternal Life March 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Loving husband for 70 years of Jeanette (nee Walter). Cherished father of David (Ramona) Schmitz. Beloved grandfather of Ed, Andrew (Denise) and Sam. Great-Grandfather of Maya, Jayden and Jim. Brother of Ed (the late Carol) and Barbara. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and and many Bay View friends.

Visitation Sunday, April 7, 2024 at THE FUNERAL HOME from 2PM to 4PM. Funeral service to follow, at 4PM. Private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

James was a proud Korean War Army Veteran, Company B Rakasans.
