Dear brother of Kevin (Barb) Schlax, Marybeth Gardner, Donna (the late Randy) Knepper, Noreen (Jeff) Johnson, Colleen (David) Helm, Jerre (Mary Ellen) Schlax, Jeffrey (Mary) Schlax, Robert (Paula) Schlax, and Jennifer (Mike) Weeden. Dear son-in-law of Dorothy (the late Fred) Kruger. Fond brother-in-law of Brenda (Kevin) Lanaghan and Kurt (Jenny) Kruger. Further survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jim was an employee for the City of Milwaukee for 17 years and was a former volunteer fireman with the St. Francis Fire Department. He loved vacationing up north with his family and friends.
