IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Arthur
Ross
June 12, 1960 – March 14, 2026
James Arthur Ross, born June 12th 1960, passed away March 14th 2026 at the age of 65. Jim touched the lives of many and was loved by all who knew him. He was an avid photographer, nature enthusiast, and adventurer who never relented his curiosity for history and interesting facts. In his free time, Jim could be found near Lake Michigan taking photos, and enjoying the shoreline, especially when there were dogs nearby. Jim was also a devoted music fan who frequented music festivals and local live performances. He was also a dedicated Green Bay Packers owner who never missed a game. Jim was an operating engineer by trade and a proud member of the IUOE Local 420 Union. For over the last decade, he had been working at the Marcus Center of the Performing Arts where his love for theatre and tinkering melded perfectly. He will be remembered for his ability to light up a room with his presence and his overall warm nature.
He is survived by his daughter Annalise (Aman), sister Sandra (Nancy), brother Richard (Kellie), and his nieces Ava and Ellerie. He is also survived by many cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Joan Ross, and his aunts and uncles. His memory will be kept alive by his family and his many faithful friends.
Jim's family would like to thank everyone who offered support during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Parks Foundation, or PBS Wisconsin. As an alternative for monetary donations, please consider visiting the polls during your next local election as Jim was a strong believer in our right to vote.
