Found eternal peace on Thursday, January 5, 2006, age 66 years. Son of the late Lydia and Alvin Putney. Husband and best friend for 49 years of Kay (nee Kirkpatrick). Loving father of Jeffrey DDS (Anne), David (Julie), Tamara (Pat Esslinger) Putney-Esslinger and Timothy (MaryBeth) Putney. Proud grandpa of Mitchell, Garrett, Katlyn, Kyle, Grayson, Alexandra, Shayna, Alicia and Brianna. Brother of Gordon (Carmen) Putney, Julie Kammer. Brother-in-law of Paddy (David) Kutz and Susan (Roland) Dobson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was the former owner of J &L Honing Co. and other businesses. He was a Past-Commodore and life member of the South Shore Yacht Club.
