Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Age 77 years. Devoted husband of the late Janice Nowak. Loving father and best friend of Lori (Steven) Shaneck, Pamela (Carl) Maki, and Vicki (Dan) Lepkowski. Doting grandfather of Tanya Bouche, Christopher (Kourtney) Raiche, Tabitha (Ed Mateo) Maki and Daniel (Cherelle Vance) Maki, and Joshua (Heather Wierman) Lepkowski and Amanda Lepkowksi. Great-grandfather of Dakota Jandron, Destinee Decremer, Merissa and Tylor Bouche, Mylah Frolich, Kaiden Wierman, and Cayden and Porter Lepkowksi. Brother of Jane (James) Kozlowski. Brother-in-law of Edward (Jeanne), Randy (Debbie) and Ronald (Arlene) Klump. Special friend of Dick DeHart and Ronnie Lenz. Further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation at the Funeral Home THURSDAY, June 28, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 PM. Memorial Service at 6:00 PM. Joe will be laid to rest in up north Wisconsin at a later date. Joe graduated from Boys Tech and spent his working days as a wood pattern maker. He was also known as Farmer Joe in Caledonia raising everything from asparagus to zucchini for 50 plus years. Joe was also known as the duck hunter and decoy carver. His passion for fishing, hunting, and telling his stories will forever remain in our hearts.
