McCoy, James L.

Passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by his dear wife Violet (nee Hrejsa), brother Robert, sister Leota (Joseph) Balestrieri and step-daughter Linda Simmons. Proud Uncle of Thomas (Sandra) Balestrieri, Patricia (Roy) Stolpa, Judith Balestrieri and Janet (the late Richard) Rodman. Stepfather of Robert and Jeffery Simmons and grandfather of Breanna (fiance Tom Wawrzyniak) Simmons. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Jim retired from the USAF as a SMSgt and received the Bronze Star in Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 416, VFW Post 9469, AFSA, EAA and ARRL (W9DFI).

Visitation Friday, April 11, 2025 from 10AM to 12PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service to follow, at 12PM. Entombment with Military Honors at Arlington Park Cemetery.
