Obituary

Died peacefully at his home on Friday, January 7, 2005, age 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude (nee Henschel). Preceded in death by his sister, Katharine Plennes and brothers, Charles and Arthur La Mora. Brother-in-law of Helen and Joan La Mora. Special uncle of Karen, Wayne, Mark, Mary, Arthur, Rose, Dale and the late Neil. Best friend of the late Beryl Cowan. Also survived by great-nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home TUE 4-6:45 PM. Milwaukee Red Arrow Club Ritual at 6:45 PM. followed by Religious Services. Interment and military honors, WED 11 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Family Center. James was a member of Bay View United Methodist Church, retiree of U.S. Steel Co., U.S. Army veteran, 32nd Div., proudly serving during World War II and member of the 32nd Div. Red Arrow Club. He was an avid dartball player for his church and the Wilson Park and Kelly Senior Centers. If desired, memorials appreciated to the church.
