James A. Kawczynski

Born to eternal life on Sunday, September 22, 2024, age 81 years. Preceded in death by his wife, Susan A. Martin. Loving father of Michael (Melanie), Michelle, James (Rhonda), Joseph (Kelly), Amy (Saul) Oliver and Andrew (Melody) Kawczynski. Proud grandfather of Kaytlin, Morgan, Jimmy, Jenna, Jordan, Gatlin, Lily, Jacey, Mabel Mae and Layla. Dear great-grandfather of Nicholas. Fond brother of Nancy (the late Frederic) Brodaczynski, Thomas (the late Sandra), Robert, the late Gerald (the late Catherine), Andrea (the late Francis) Adams and Fr. Ronald Kawczynski. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

James was a retiree of the Milwaukee County Parks System after 34 years. He was born and raised in Milwaukee and still to this day was proud to call Milwaukee home. During his retirement James fulfilled a dream and purchased his "Summer Cottage" in 2011, on Potter Lake in East Troy, the lake provided countless hours of memories for him and his family.

Visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2024, 4:00-7:00 pm, prayer service at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 4, 2024, 10:00 am at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1981 Beulah Ave, East Troy, WI 53120. Committal to follow at St. Peter the Apostle Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in James' memory to St. Peter's Church are appreciated.
