Peacefully entered into Eternal Life on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the age of 76. His family was by his side as he received the Anointing of the Sick. Beloved husband of Stephanie (nee Borkovich) Jens for 53 years. Loving and extraordinary dad of Kathryn (Jeffrey) Orlowski, Michael (Robyn) Jens. Adoring grandpa of Mallory and Brody Jens, and Jacob Orlowski. Dear brother of Tom Jens. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings and in-laws. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim was born in Milwaukee and attended Boys Technical High School and UWM. He worked for Bostrom Corporation and Milwaukee Valve. He enjoyed all sports especially the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He always looked forward to spending time with his family. His favorite pastime was watching his granddaughter and grandson participate in sports and school events. The family lake house in northern Wisconsin was his haven. He enjoyed boating, fishing, snowmobiling, and relaxing with family and friends. He loved to travel with Stephanie and his family throughout our beautiful country with special trips to Alaska, Hawaii and European destinations. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 4:00PM-7:00PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. Private interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the caregivers at AccentCare Hospice for the compassion and kindness extended to Jim during his final days. They also want to thank Dr. Daniel Donovan for many years of care, Dr. Francis Cuevas and the nurses and staff at the Reiman Cancer Center.
