Born to Eternal Life, Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the age of 82. Preceded in death by his parents, Seldon and Hazel Irwin. He proudly served in the Korean War and is a retiree from Wisconsin Electric. He enjoyed traveling, bird watching, wood working and gardening. Jim was preceded in death by his loving wives, Betty Jane and Kitty, and brother Don. He is survived by daughter, Candace (Kevin) Phillips; son, Dennis (Sue) Irwin; stepchildren Bethalie Schaefer, Rod Schaefer and Rudy Schaefer and their spouses; grandchildren Emily Irwin, Nicole Novak, Haley Phillips, Caleb Phillips, Cooper Phillips, Dawn Makowski, Theresa Leto, Craig Stephenson, Chris Winninger, Rod Schaefer Jr. and their families. Also survived by four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family and friends. Memorial gathering at the Funeral Home Thursday, September 2, 2010, 11AM-1 PM. Memorial Service at 1 PM. Inurnment and military honors to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Vitas Hospice or Happy Endings.
