Of South Milwaukee, born March 6, 1952 in Milwaukee, passed away on February 7, 2012, at the age of 59. Husband of Kathy (nee Straedey), loving father of Shawn (Vikki) Healy, Heather (Joe) Emrich, and stepfather of Dusty (Michelle) and Bradley Glasener. Proud grandfather of Gracie Healy and Nicole, Austin, and Abraham Glasener. Preceded in death by his son, Scott Healy, and his parents, James M. Healy, Sr. and Virginia (Howland). Brother of Ginger (Jerry) Sorensen and Tommy (Marianne) Healy. Survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Jim was raised in West Allis and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1970. He was an all-state football player and later competed in a local semi-professional league. He worked tirelessly in the construction trade for nearly 40 years, enjoyed weightlifting, listening to Bob Uecker radio broadcasts of the Brewers on his outside deck, and rooting for his beloved Chicago Bears across the state line. Jim lived and died for the "boys of fall."
