Halvorsen, James N. Passed away after a brief illness on Friday, May 22, 2015. Age 70 years. Beloved husband for 38 years of Cathy (nee Sylvester). Loving dad of Allison Halvorsen. Dear son-in-law of Dorothy Sylvester. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Szymanski, Greg Sylvester and Scott (Becky) Sylvester. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marion Halvorsen and father-in-law Norman Sylvester. Further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home WEDNESDAY, May 27, 2015 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services at 7 PM. Jim was a retiree of Ladish Co. after 44 1/2 years of service. He was a longtime member and loved spending time with his dear friends at River Bend Resort. He was collector of model rail roads and an avid fan of NASCAR.
