GIBBS, James Donald, Jr. Joined his son, Dominick Anthony, in heaven on June 8, 2021 at age 50. James is loved and deeply missed by his fiancee, Marie Schroeder, and his children Rachel (Tyler) Elmore, Cody Gibbs, and Tristan Gibbs, and Marie's children, Dylan, Riley and Ayden Schroeder. He will be forever in the hearts of his mother, Dorothy "De" (Jim Bozicevich) Gibbs (nee Goerke), father, James Donald (Lynn) Gibbs, Sr., and sisters, Joy (Keith) Astley and Karla (Kris) Kraft. James is the doting grandfather of Josephine Gibbs, Porter and Braxton Elmore, and Asher Gibbs. Also survived by his treasured family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A talented and skilled painter and decorator in the construction industry, James was passionate about quality and efficiency in his work and was a valuable and active member of Painter's Local Union 781. He enjoyed being with family and especially loved being a granddad. He also liked to fish and hunt with his dad, uncles, and cousins, and duck hunting was a particular favorite. Private services will be held on Sunday, June 13, with cremation the following day. A Celebration of Life will be held for James at a later date.
