Sunday, May 21, 2017. Age 89 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 67 years of Joan (nee Munkwitz). Loving father of Thomas (Linda), Wayne (Linda) and Karen (Oliver) Zimmermann. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Sean (Chady), Dana (Justin), Michelle, Angela and Justin (Ashley). Further survived by 5 great-grandchildren, other family members and friends. Jim was a dedicated family man, U.S. Army Veteran and a retiree of Teledyne Corporation after 42 years of service. Through out his life Jim enjoyed playing golf, wood carving and his Golden Retrievers. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society are appreciated.
