Champagne, James M. Friday, August 7, 2009, age 87 years. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Tschohl). Loving dad of James (Donna), Brian (Sharon) and Danielle Champagne. Proud grandpa of Nassreen (Michael) Brown. Dear great-grandpa of Evelyn, Gavin and Greyson. Brother-in-law of Mary Jane Champagne, Russell (Betty) Tschohl and Lucia Tschohl. Preceded in death by his brother Orville Champagne and brother-in-law Kenneth Tschohl. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. James was a retiree of Mobil Oil Company, member of Teamsters Local No. 200, U.S. Army Air Corps. Veteran serving overseas during World War II with the 100th Bomb Group and a member of VFW Post No. 5272. He was also a 3rd degree member of Trinity Council No. 4580 Knights of Columbus and was an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts for over 50 years.
