On Friday, May 26, 2018 Heaven opened its gates to its newest angel Jim Bracey at the age of 95 years. He was greeted by his wife of 56 years Lorraine (nee Schmidt). Loving dad of Sue Meyer and her husband John. Treasured grandpa of Jonathan and Tim Meyer and his wife Courtney. Cherished great-grandpa of Zoe and Charlie Meyer. Jim is also preceded in death by his parents Michael and Frances and sister Rita Barlow and her husband Ed. He is also further survived by other family members and friends. Olivet Cemetery Jim was a member of the greatest generation and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force as gunnery instructor in Laredo, TX. He worked as an electrical engineer designing industrial lighting until his retirement in 1984. His family would like to thank Chris, Janet and the exceptional caregivers and staff at Zablocki VA Medical Center as well as Vitas Hospice and The Lutheran Home for their tender care and support.
