Jacqueline "Jackie" Joy Weiland reunited with Christ on June 23, 2024.

She is survived by her children; Lisa Weiland, Lawrence Weiland, Danielle (Brian) Gillingham, Jennifer (Steven) Uppena; her grandchildren Steven Balistreri, David Weiland, John Petri, Anthony Gorski, Kate Gillingham, Andrea (Billy) Tompkins, Corrinn Gillingham, Vincent (Chelsea) Gillingham, Sonya Sorgel, and Amanda Lewis; her great-grandchildren Frank and Steven Jr. Balisteri; her great-great "soon to be" grandson, Elio Balisteri. Further survived by other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Emily Weiland; and granddaughter Samantha Gorski.

Jackie was a social worker who worked with a variety of non-profit organizations throughout her career. She served various populations, including the homeless at Hope House in Milwaukee where she retired. After retirement Jackie lived at Canticle Court with the sisters of St. Francis of Assisi where she had many friends. She served her community and those around her with love, strength, and dedication. Jackie cherished the times she spent with her family and loved traveling to New York. Jackie spent many hours watching Fox News and supporting Donald J. Trump. Jackie was also a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bay View.

Towards the end of her life, Jackie was diagnosed with dementia but always remembered her family and her travels, and loved telling the stories of both.

The family would like to personally thank Accentcare Hospice for the care that they provided to Jackie and the love and support that they showed to the family.

Memorial Visitation is at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 4:00 PM-6:00PM. Memorial Service at 6:00 PM.
