Born to Eternal Life on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Age 72 years. Beloved wife and best friend for 49 years of Michael Sillix. Loving mother of Kiley Sillix (Tony Merritt), Tracy (Andy) Reed, Michael (Leah) Sillix. Loving grandmother of Amya; the late Kristian, Kendall, Andre Anna; Jacob, Mya, Tyler, Makenzie. Dear sister of the late Jim (the late Candy) Lidwin, Carol (the late Glenn) Anadell and Thomas (Cathy) Lidwin. Dear sister-in-law of the late Dr. Dale H. Sillix Jr. and Dr. Patrick Sillix. Jackie is also preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Mary Lidwin and father-in-law of Dr. Dale Sillix Sr. and mother-in-law Emily Sillix. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Jackie was born and raised in Milwaukee, was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and for several years she worked at Allen-Bradley. In 1971 at the Rusty Nail, she met the love her life Michael. They married on February 16, 1974. In 1980 they moved to Wind Lake where they raised their family. In 1988 Jackie began driving school bus for the Muskego-Norway School District. She loved her job and retired in 2015. Throughout her life Jackie enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, sewing, bowling, arts & crafts, fishing and camping up north. What Jackie loved the most was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was wonderfully supportive of their sports endeavors and activities.
Her family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, the Neuro ICU at St. Luke's Medical Center, Aurora at home Palliative Care and Senior Helpers for all of their support. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jackie's name may be made to the American Stroke Association a division of the American Heart Association.
Visitation Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10AM - 12:45 PM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz Street Wind Lake. Mass Of Christian Burial at 1PM.
