IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline Joan
Lucas-Jordan
May 2, 1959 – November 29, 2024
Jacqueline J. Lucas-Jordan
"Jack"
Died peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024. Age 65 years. Deeply loved mother of Jessica Lucas. Former wife and dear friend of Jeffrey Lucas. Further survived by other family members, cherished friends, night nurses and colleagues. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Joan Jordan, along with younger brother Timothy Jordan.
Jack attended Pius XI and Oak Creek High Schools. She was a proud graduate of the Milwaukee County School of Nursing in 1993, one of their final graduating classes. In her career Jack worked at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. She drove ambulance and trained paramedics for Bell and Cross Ambulance. After graduation, Jack worked at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital both as an ICU nurse and Flight for Life Nurse. She finished her career at St. Luke's Medical Center as Charge Nurse on weekend nights.
Throughout her life Jack enjoyed dancing, reading, and camping with friends. She also loved going to rummage sales, going to the State Fair, traveling around Wisconsin especially Door County and spending time with her daughter, Jessica. She was a great storyteller but also the best listener. What Jack loved the most in life was being a damn good nurse and she was! As she left for work every day, she would say, "I'm off to save lives!" She saved countless lives!
Jack was like a "very over-toasted marshmallow...all charred and crusty on the outside but on the inside, she was all melty, gooey and sweet."
