Jacquelin R. Balistreri (nee Oettinger) was born to eternal life where she was reunited with the love of her life, Steve Balistreri Sr. on Thursday, April 4th, 2024 at the age of 72. Loving mother of Tony (Ericka) Balistreri and Steven (Sarah) Balistreri. Beloved Nana of Joseph, Elizabeth, Mia (Antonio), Steven III, Salvatore, and Sofia. Cherished great-grandmother of Marcus. Also survived by her sisters Jean (Ron), Jill (Bill) and brother John (Susan). Further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by Steve Sr., her parents Hattie and Don Oettinger, and her sister Judee.
Jackie met her husband, Steve, when they were in grade school. Jackie was Steve's soulmate, friend, confidant, and devoted caregiver. Jackie served others through various roles in her career as a nurse. She was a dedicated life-long learner and she loved to organize and conduct research on a variety of topics. Jackie was selfless in her joyful care and service of others. She was a breast cancer survivor. Jackie had a profound and childlike faith that she shared with everyone.
Visitation at St. John's Lutheran Church, 10302 S. 27th St., Oak Creek on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00PM.
Interment at Saint Martin Lutheran Cemetery in Belle Plaine, WI at a later date. Steve and Jackie will enjoy the peaceful countryside together again.
