Found peace on Friday, April 17, 2015, age 88 years. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Ardis (nee Johnson); beloved son, Jack; and his parents, Peter and Jeanette Schunk. Survived by his loving children, Dale (Maria) Schunk of New Berlin and Jeffrey Schunk of Brooklyn Park, MN. Loving grandfather to LT USN Peter and Daniel Schunk, Jeffrey (Susan Markey), Kristina and Jessica Schunk. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Jack was a retiree of Pabst Brewing Company; a member of Brewery Worker's Local No. 9, a US Navy veteran serving during World War II, member of American Legion Post No. 474 and was honored to have gone to Washington DC on the Wisconsin Honor Flight. Visitation at ST. VERONICA CHURCH, 4001 So. Whitnall Ave., on Thursday, April 23, 2015, 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, followed by military honors.
