Died unexpectedly doing what he loved best, on his motorcycle, on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the age of 57 years old. He was the beloved husband of Jeannie for 39 years; the loving dad of Guy Shilts and Shilo Shilts; the proud grandpa of River and Maia and the dear son of Leonard Shilts. Jack is further survived by many sisters and brothers, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Jack was a former employee of Briggs and Stratton/Gray Iron Foundry after 30 years and an employee of Andes Candies for the last 8 years A United States Marine Corps veteran. He was a longtime H.O.G. member, a MOPAR car enthusiast and a former Golden Gloves Boxer at the Eagles Club.
