IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacie
Gonzalez
August 28, 1997 – July 19, 2023
Jacie Gonzalez
"Jay"
Jacie will always be remembered for his courage and positive outlook during difficult times. Unfortunately, this time the pain was too difficult to bear and Jacie died by suicide on Thursday evening.
Jacie was raised in a large loving family on the southside of Milwaukee . He loved playing sports and racing his sisters in the front yard. One of his favorite childhood memories was going for rides with his father in "blue" (a custom old school Impala). He also loved family camping trips where his sisters, little brother and cousins would play in lakes and rivers. Jacie was a mama's boy who always tried to support his mother with love and compassion even during the toughest of times.
Shortly after graduating high school Jacie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to follow in the footsteps of his Grandfather and Uncle. He was meritoriously promoted in bootcamp and excelled at being an aviation mechanic. He served honorable for 5 years and transitioned back to civilian life this past November.
Jacie was a cherished son, a supportive brother, a loyal cousin, a heroic nephew, and a loving grandson. Jacie was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness wherever he went. He will be missed dearly and thought of often.
