J. Guadalupe García Jiménez, de 92 años, hijo de José García y Felipa Jiménez, y esposo de Victoria Cervantes, falleció el 10 de septiembre de 2024 en Aurora Zilber Family Hospice en Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Ahora está reunido con sus padres, hermanos y el amor de su vida, Victoria García, con quien compartió más de 74 años de matrimonio. Padre de Manuel García (Leticia), Abigail (Robert Koch, Martha (Francisco Contreras), Alicia (Rubén Robelo), Teresa (Lauro Mexicano), Ma Guadalupe (José Zúñiga), Tina, Leticia (Martín Silva), Francisco García (Isiah) y Fernando García (Elva). Le sobreviven 42 nietos, 66 bisnietos, 8 tataranietos, otros familiares y amigos, en Wisconsin, California y México.
Guadalupe trabajó en California en la década de 1960 hasta 1978, cuando él y Victoria emigraron a Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Trabajó y se jubiló en 1994 de Quality Aluminum Casting en Waukesha, Wisconsin, donde hizo muchos buenos amigos. Un hombre devoto de su familia, era conocido por su hermosa sonrisa y la calidez que brindaba a todos los que conocía.
Guadalupe tenía un amor por el aire libre y la agricultura. Disfrutaba de montar a caballo, asistir a jaripeos y las toreadas los domingos, y estaba especialmente orgulloso de su habilidad para cultivar el mejor maíz, cacahuates, guayabas y más. Su hermoso jardín era un reflejo de su amor por la naturaleza.
Sus amigos en el UCC Senior Care lo extrañarán mucho, donde le encantaba jugar dominó. La familia extiende su más profundo agradecimiento a su cuidadora, Martha, así como a los médicos y enfermeras de St. Lukes (especialmente CICU) y del Zilber Hospice por su atención compasiva.

Guadalupe García Jiménez, 92 years old, son of José García and Felipa Jiménez, and husband of Victoria Cervantes, passed away on September 10, 2024, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He is now reunited with his parents, siblings, and the love of his life, Victoria García, with whom he shared 74+ years of marriage. Loving father of Manuel Garcia (Leticia), Abigail (Robert Koch, Martha (Francisco Contreras), Alicia (Ruben Robelo), Teresa (Lauro Mexicano), Ma Guadalupe (Jose zuñiga), Tina, Leticia (Martin Silva), Francisco Garcia (Isiah) and Fernando Garcia (Elva). Survived by 42 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, other family and friends, in Wisconsin, California and Mexico.
Guadalupe worked in California in the 1960s until 1978, when he and Victoria immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He worked and retired in 1994 from Quality Aluminum Casting in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where he made many good friends. A devoted family man, he was known for his handsome smile and the warmth he brought to everyone he met.
Guadalupe had a love for the outdoors and farming. He enjoyed horse riding, attending jaripeos and las toreadas on Sundays, and was especially proud of his ability to grow the best corn, peanuts, guavas, and more. His beautiful garden was a reflection of his love for nature.
He will be greatly missed by his friends at UCC Senior Care, where he loved playing dominoes. The family extends their deepest gratitude to his caregiver, Martha, as well as the doctors and nurses at St. Luke's Especially the staff in CICU and the Zilber Hospice for their compassionate care.
