Born July 11, 1982. Fell asleep to the Lord March 2, 2026. Ivan is survived by his wife, Anna Edzhuryan Nausieda, and his mother, Dr. Evonne Winston. Ivan was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Paul Nausieda. Son-in-law of Missak and Gayane Edzhuryan. Dear brother of Tony Nausieda (Nicole). Much loved uncle of Harrison, Marielle, and Juliette. Nephew of Tina Winston, the late Paula Winston-Gaspie (Joe Gaspie), Evan Zeppos (Adina), Nick Zeppos (Lydia Howarth), the late Jonathan Zeppos (Kathy), Julie Moretti, and the late John Nausieda. Cousin of Cristina Glavas (Yiannis), Alexis Peterson, Gina Pavlik (Paul), Tara Komperda (John), Laura Nausieda (Ethan), Xander Peterson, and baby George Glavas. Cherished and very dear friend and co-conspirator of John Gianos-Steinberg and Chris Virnig. Further survived by close friends and business colleagues Kevin Nazemi, Oded Asherie, Justin Merrill, John DePalma, Tyler Finklestein, Brian Shim, Ryan Gage, Mark Heffernan, Kimball Thomas, and many other extended family and friends.
Ivan was the ultimate entrepreneur. He was educated at Marquette University High School, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Harvard Business School. His happiest years were in the department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, where he received his PhD, creating the online publishing company Charles River Editors with Johnny, his friend of 38 years, and developing the online financial services company, Charlie.com with friend Kevin. Ivan was brilliant, kind, humble, and playful. He had an insatiable appetite to learn new things and was never without an idea for his next venture. He loved his Greek heritage and taught himself Greek, Italian, Russian, and Turkish. He travelled to Greece to improve his language skills and connect with family there. He honored and found solace in his Orthodox faith. It was vital to Ivan that he be able to marry Anna in the Greek Orthodox faith; he was grateful and content being a married man to such a lovely and devoted wife. Ivan left us much too soon. We can only wonder what else he would have contributed in the years to come. In the words of one of his friends, "Ivan will never NOT be missed". May his memory be eternal.
