Went home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Rodriguez) for 58 years. Cherished father of Israel Jr. (Deborah) Medina, Marco (Martha) Medina, and the late Maribel Medina. Proud grandpa of Jacob Medina, Nathan Medina, Benjamin Medina, Sophia Grace, Michael, and the late Noah Medina. Caring brother of Olga Vara, Edwin Medina, and Miguel Medina. Further survived by many other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends who have been incredibly supportive during this difficult time. Israel loved the sports teams of Wisconsin. He retired from Rexworks after many years of service. Israel cherished his yard, and spent countless hours manicuring his lawn and garden to perfection. He always kicked back on his deck with a can of Coors Light after the work was done. Traveling with his family was important. They traveled to Spain, Italy, Mexico, Hawaii, Jamaica, and his home island of Puerto Rico. His casino trips with the 57 plus group were some of the happiest days of his later years. He appreciated each day. He was loud and funny with a big personality. Israel was the life of the party and lived life to the fullest. He set the example of how we all should approach and treat every precious day. A private family service will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 12 Noon.
