Obituary

Williams, Irvin R. Born to eternal life on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Schnitzka) Traxel-Williams. Loving dad of Donald (Lori) Williams, Dale (Mona) Williams and Sheryl (Daniel) Levin. Dearest step-father of William (Jeanine) Traxel, Thomas (Janice) Traxel, Barbara (Lee) Taylor and David Traxel. Dear brother of Margaret (Frank) Silkey. Proud grandpa of 12 and further survived by other family and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home FRI, Oct. 6, 4-7 PM and also SAT 9-10 AM. Funeral Service SAT 10 AM. Entombment and military honors at Arlington Park Cemetery. Irvin was a member of Apostle Presbyterian Church, a retiree of Consolidated Freightway, a member of Teamsters Local No. 200, U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War on the U.S.S. Allen M. Sumner No. 692 and member of Greendale Post No. 416-American Legion. If desired, memorials appreciated to the "Save Our Chapel" fund at the Wood National Cemetery grounds. A very special thank you to Dr. Pasquini and the other doctors and staff at the Zablocki V.A. Medical Center for the compassion shown and the excellent care given to Irvin.
