Irmgard was a master tailor and also worked at Johnson Cookie Company/Masterson Foods prior to becoming a full-time homemaker. She was an excellent baker and cook who greatly enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Hans and Irmgard were an adventurous couple with a large social circle who traveled extensively across the globe. They enjoyed boating at their Wisconsin lake house on Blue Spring Lake and at their winter home in Fort Myers Beach, FL. Irmgard was cherished and is survived by her children, Loretta Lorenzen (Daryl Laatsch), and Elmer (Kay) Lorenzen. She was the beloved grandmother of Natasha Lorenzen, Christian Laatsch, Heidi (Jon) DeVeau, and Lauren (Jacob) Taber. Irmgard also delighted in being great-grandmother to Vivian Taber, June DeVeau and Audrey Taber.
