(nee Ptaszynski) Passed away, Friday, August 16, 2019 at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Aloysius Sielski. Cherished mother of Arlene (Dale) Hanus and Elaine Gauger. Proud grandmother of Mitchell, Sarah, and Logan Hanus; Lauren (Joseph Nabak) Gauger, Amanda (Joe) Bilicki, and Emily (Kevin) Goelzer. Great-grandmother of Noah, Savannah, Ellie, Payton, and Nora. Also survived by her sister Ethelyn Oettmeier, her bother-in-law Ted Sielski and many nieces and nephews. Irene was a founding member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and served as President of the Christian Women's Society. She enjoyed needlecrafts, making personalized Christmas stockings, Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls and stuffed animals. Irene especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she loved the little ones. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
