Irene Marie Borucki, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 74, surrounded by the love of her family. Irene left behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and unwavering loyalty. She was born in Leeds, United Kingdom on August 30, 1949, and later made Milwaukee, WI her home.
Dear mother of the late Brenda Borucki and Beth (Adrian) Renteria. Cherished Booshie of Samantha Borucki and William Sullivan V; Yvette Renteria. Dear great-Booshie of Mari. Loving aunt of Katy Jacobs and Mitchell Peters. Adored sister of the late Annie (John) Jacobs and Shelia Zukowski. Irene is also survived by other family members, many loving friends and her feline friends Stormi and Hank.
Irene dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving others as an Emergency Technician at St. Francis Hospital. Her commitment to caring for those in need truly shone through, and her impact on the lives she touched was immeasurable. A proud graduate of Bay View High School, Irene's work in the emergency room showcased her unwavering dedication to her community.
In her spare time, Irene found solace in reading, engaging in trivia, and indulging in BBC programs, a connection to her English heritage. Her love for horses and involvement in the Emerald Society were testament to her diverse interests and passions. Irene was a woman of wit, charm, and honesty, never shying away from expressing her beliefs with a touch of humor and a sizeable dose of candor.
Visitation Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 10AM - 12 Noon at St. Veronica Church, 4001 S. Whitnall Ave. Milwaukee. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Private interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
As we gather to celebrate Irene's life, let us remember her warm spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering kindness. Her legacy will be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, knowing she made this world a brighter place with her presence.
