Peacefully and surrounded by family, Howard J. Slawny passed away on Wednesday, December 28th at the age of 99 years.

Howard will lovingly be remembered by his wife Jeannie of 52 years; children: Paula, Pam (Mike), Jack (Barb), Betsy (Steve), 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Howard was predeceased by his wife of 20 years (Dorothy); son (Davis); 2 brothers (Kenny, Jimmy); 1 sister (Shirley). Also survived by other family and friends.

Howard had a long interesting life. He served his country for four years in WWII in the United States Navy. He had a love for travel and was fortunate to travel all over the world, with the navy and his wife, Jeannie. Howard was inventive; he built his first home and was a successful research and development engineer at Paper Converting Machine Company. Howard owned and flew his own airplane and loved golfing.

Memorial Visitation on Monday, January 16, 2022, 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Veronica Church, 4001 S. Whitnall Ave., Milwaukee. Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Private inurnment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
