It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Houmphanh Malivarn, who left this world peacefully on August 31, 2025, at the age of 69, after a courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by his loving family, Houmphanh departed this life at his residence in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Born into an industrious spirit, Houmphanh thrived in the art of working with his hands. He was an avid fisherman, often finding solace and joy in the tranquil waters, always eager to share his passion with his loved ones. Among his greatest treasures were his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable happiness-his warmth and laughter brightened their lives and the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

Houmphanh is survived by his beloved spouse, Somphone Malivarn, and his cherished daughter, Tola Malivarn. Together, they share a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his son, Soukoum Malivarn.

In honor of his life and the joy he brought to the world, the family will be holding a Visitation Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home celebrating Houmphanh's remarkable journey and the family invites all who were touched by Houmphanh's life to join them in remembrance.

As we bid farewell to a joyful soul who radiated light and love, we remember Houmphanh Malivarn for his unwavering spirit and dedication to family. His memory will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of those who knew him.
