Born to eternal life, with his beloved wife, Joanne (nee Moseler), at his side on Saturday, July 5, 2014, age 81 years. Patient and loving father of William D. (Theresa) Gardner IV and Anthony J. (fiance- Kate Stocks) Gardner. Proud grandfather of Erica, Will, Ashley and Hannah. Brother to Patricia A. (the late Jerry) Williams. Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and William D. Gardner Jr., Joy Gardner, Mary (Richard) Koceja. Further survived by step-children, step-grandchildren, other family, many dear friends and colleagues. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, a Milwaukee County Deputy District Attorney and retired Circuit Court Judge of Branch 16.
