(nee Udhardt) age 97, born in Danzig, Germany on May 22, 1920, and arrived in the U.S. at Ellis Island with her family in 1923. Passed into eternal life on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna Udhardt; three brothers, Kurt, Paul, Johannes and her grandson, David Plahmer. Survived by her two children, Arlene (Thomas) Plahmer and Lawrence R. (Denise) Mueller; three grandchildren, Tom Plahmer, Cheryl (Shawn) Berry and Jennifer A. Mueller; three great-grandchildren, Trevor Plahmer, Alexander Berry, and Jacob Berry and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Woodlawn/Brookfield Rehab Center for their specialized care for 14 years. In 1937 Connie appeared in Milwaukee Sentinel feature article which reported her as the first female in the area to sign up for the then newly enacted Federal Social Security Program. Private entombment at Forest Home Cemetery where Connie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Lawrence C. Mueller.
