Hilde joined her loving husband of 60 years, Donald, on Monday, June 26th, 2023, aged 89. Hilde leaves behind her sons Donald F. and Paul (Peggy) as well as many beloved family members and friends. Her caregiver, Vicky, was Hilde's devoted companion for the last years of her life.

Hilde was known to all as a generous, loving soul who always put others before herself. She enjoyed traveling, was an excellent cook and baker, and loved spending time with family and friends. After growing up in Germany, she moved to the U.S. with Donald to raise their family. She worked for many years as a hairdresser at Gimbels.

Hilde will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her friendliness, her strength, and her unwavering love and support of all those whose lives she touched.
