Of St. Francis, died on Saturday, September 1, 2007 with his children and grandchildren by his side. Harry was born July 28, 1927 to Albert and Helen Lau, in Milwaukee. Harry married his high school sweetheart, Pat Niemann. He was the perfect husband, a role model in his marriage and faith to all. As a Boy Scout leader, Junior Achievement advisor and president of Unity Ev. Lutheran Church Council, where he was a member for 52 years, he exemplified unselfish devotion to family, friends and community. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict, and dedicated 42 years to Ladish Co. Harry was a good and honest man. He embraced all with whom he came in contact, and his sense of humor, his generosity and his genuine love endeared him to all he knew. Harry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat; his parents; his brother Robert Lau and grandpa Harold Burdon. He is survived by his children, Christine (Tom) Young, David (Gloria) Lau, Robert (Julie Winter) and Debra (Ray) Neuberger; grandchildren, Courtney (Shawn) West, Krystie (Mario) Schackelman, Brian Lau, Ethan, Jennifer (Marty) Rowe and Kristin (Frank) Colorito; great-grandchildren Shayne Schackelman, Kaley and Kohl Colorito. A memorial service will be held at Unity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1025 E. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53207 FRIDAY, September 7, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. There will be visitation from 9 AM until the time of services. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Unity Ev. Lutheran Church.
