Beloved father of Thomas (Anne), Mary Margaret Melanson (Yves), John (Mary), Leah, Joan Poletti (Ed), Carol, and Ellen Zydzik. Harry is also survived by 2 sisters, 1 brother, 19 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Harry was born May 12, 1917 in Condon, and grew up in Oregon City, Oregon. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII, European Theatre. After working for the US Weather Bureau, he followed his father Leon's example and worked for many years as a grading contractor and truck driver. Harry enjoyed Lake Michigan fishing during his later years and delighted in teaching his grandchildren the nuances of Sheepshead. He maintained an interest in genealogy, tracing his roots back to Sebastian Fisher, who arrived in New York in 1710. Visitation SAT, March 18, 9-10:45 AM at SACRED HEART OF JESUS CHURCH, 3635 So.
