Voelkel, Harriet A. passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 93. Harriet was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Sidney A. Voelkel and daughter Judy Voelkel. She is survived by son, Jeff (Jean) Voelkel and her beloved grandsons, Ben (Erin) Voelkel and Andy Voelkel. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation on Friday, June 18, 2021 3:30PM to 5:30 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Service to follow, at 5:30PM. Graveside service will be at Lakeside Cemetery, N. Railroad Ave., Crandon, WI on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 12PM. Harriet was born on January 25, 1928 in Crandon, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harden and Mary Plummer. She was one of 9 children, the other eight preceded her in death. Harriet was an independent, determined woman to whom her family was everything. She loved to bowl and do crossword puzzles and adored her two grandsons and reveled in all of their accomplishments. Harriet will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the National Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice in Harriet's name would be appreciated.
