Loving grandfather of Grant (Ashley), Mitch (Jenna) Buenger and Benjamin Pfeifer. Special great-grandfather of Brigham, Marshall and Judah. Harold was a 1945 graduate of Bay View High School, served in the U.S. Army, World War II in the 4th Armored Division. Upon returning home, he earned his Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison. He retired from Bucyrus-Erie as Supervisor of International Subcontracting after 38 years service. Harold was also a life long active member of Christ Church, Wisconsin Scottish Rite Bodies, Lake Shore Shrine Club, Tripoli Shrine Temple and Long Riders.
