Died in a car accident on May 24, 2016 in Ashland, Wisconsin at the age of 18.
Hannah is survived by her parents, Heidi Cumbajin of Milwaukee and Selso Cumbajin of Puyo, Ecuador; sister Daniela Cumbajin of Puyo. Ecuador; Grandparents Luis Cumbajin and Blanca Punguil of Ecuador and Kathleen Trough of Milwaukee; aunts and uncles Carmen (Jose Byron), Temistocles (Brook), Luis (Gloria), Danilo (Debra), Rommel (Erika), Alexandra and Johann (Jenny), Rudy, Rolf(Joy), Erich, Marla (David); cousins Vanessa, Byron, Leilani, Ansel, Nick, Xavi and Andrew, Rolf Jr., Rudy, Katie, Randolf. She is preceded in death by grandfather Rudolf Schiermeister of Germany. Hannah also leaves behind other beloved family and friends.
Hannah was born on July 26, 1997 in Madison, Wisconsin. She graduated from Ronald Reagan High School in 2015. She attended Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Hannah was a beautiful, young woman, full of adventure and kindness. She adored her family and loved animals. Hannah Bean played soccer and was a passionate reader. She loved music and singing in choir in high school. Her sense of adventure took her around the world: her homeland of Ecuador and 10 countries in Europe. Hannah loved the water and the beach, and she spent as much time as she could at the lakefront. She was a dedicated volunteer at many sites, including the Wisconsin Humane society, and the Wisconsin Holiday Folk Fair. She contributed toward many causes by raising awareness, including Special Olympics, AIDS, MS and Leukemia.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday, May 28 from 9-10:00 AM. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Hannah's life.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to The Wisconsin Humane Society or UW's Carbone Cancer Center Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
