Obituary

Of South Milwaukee. Born to eternal life on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, age 63 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 34 years of Debra (nee Matel). Loving "Pop" of Brian (Allison) Hejdak. Proud grandpa of Landon and Lily. Preceded in death by his parents George and Gladys Hejdak. Step-son of Geno Nowak. Dear brother of Gail Clements, Jeff (Sue) Hejdak and Gerry (the late Barb) Hejdak. Fond son-in-law of Fred and Virg Matel. Brother-in-law of Dan (Chris) Matel, Tom (Kathy) Matel, Sue (Steve) Roso, Mike (Wendy) Matel, Jim (Micki) Matel and Patti (Andy) Swanson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation on Monday, April 1, 2013, 4:00-8:00 PM, prayer service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 2, 10:00 AM at DIVINE MERCY PARISH, 800 Marquette Ave., South Milwaukee, (Please meet at church at 9:45 AM). Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Greg was a retiree of Miller Compressing and was a volunteer with Community Projects for Seniors. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and traveling the world with his best friend, Deb.
