Was Born to This Life on April 20, 1951 and was Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 61 years. Loving husband for 29 years of Susan (nee Theisen). Devoted dad of Ginny Brocker. Friend and step-father of Anthony (Janel) Holtz and Jonathan (Angie) Holtz. Special brother of Stephen (Maribeth) Brocker. Dear brother-in-law of Terry (Sharon) and William Theisen. Best buddy of Steve Dolphin. Greg is survived by his treasured grandchildren; Autumn and T.J. Holtz and Gaige and Espen Holtz, who will never forget their special "Papa". He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home, SATURDAY, January 5, 2013 from 11 2 PM. Funeral Services at 2 PM. Private interment Forest Home Cemetery. Greg was an employee of Brown Paper Goods in Waukegan, IL. Throughout his life he enjoyed painting, golf and Blues music. Greg was a colorful person, both by trade and personality. He was loved by all who knew him. His kind and gracious spirit endured through his recent cancer diagnosis and his quick passing. Greg will never be forgotten. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
