Greg Capelle passed away with his wife Trish by his side on Sunday December 6, age 63. Loving husband and best friend of Trish. Loving father of Heather, Sam (Michelle), Tyler (Kendra), and Max. Papa Greg to Hayden. Dear brother-in-law to Jim and Sharon the goat lover. He will be missed by many brothers, sisters, family, friends, and fellow Marines. Greg's personality, sense of humor, incredible smile, sassiness, and the way he would light up a room will be dearly missed. He could make anyone laugh until their stomach hurt. Greg's favorite holiday was Halloween. His holiday rules included no "cute" outfits, rather he insisted that everyone showed up in a scary costume, even if you were an infant or an animal. He loved game nights with the Gallerts and Junbluths. Greg also loved all puppies, but Saint Bernards (or "Saints" as he called them) held a special spot in his heart. He is reunited in Heaven with all his puppers, where he will be receiving all the puppy love and drool. Greg was known for his pristine lawn and garden, where there were no weeds allowed and plenty of lawn ornaments. He loved sitting around the fire in his backyard with bourbon, a cigar, and good company. He touched the lives of everyone he met, and he will be missed. A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday December 10, 2020 from 2PM-4:30PM with a funeral service at 4:30.
