(nee Winkowski) Friday, November 6, 2020, age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph N. "Joe Jelly Jr." Czajkowski. Cherished mother of the late Karen Jansen, Amy (William) Simmons and Jayne Czajkowski. Loving grandmother of Samantha Simmons, Joe Pettinger and Hailey TeVrucht. Dear sister of Carol (the late Gene) Kujawa. Fond sister-in-law of Helen Winkowski, Gloria Winkowski and Geraldine (John Petcoff) Czajkowski. Preceded in death by her brothers, Danny (Peggy), Jerry and Bobby Winkowski and brother-in-law Daniel (Gracie) Czajkowski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Grace grew up on Milwaukee's southside attending St. Adalbert Elementary School, South Division High School where she played in the school band. She started her working career in the office at Schwartzburg Motors and continued a career in bookkeeping until her retirement. Grace was a longtime member of the Rhinelander Newcomers Club, enjoyed crafting holiday decorations, knitting and needlepoint and creating her own greeting cards with personal verses for all occasions. She always kept watch for Joe to come off the lake from fishing. Some of her most treasured time was with her grandchildren, whether it was playing cards, board games or baking holiday treats. A sincere thank you to Aurora Medical Center Grafton and Lawlis Family Hospice for their heartfelt care for Grace. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Grace's memory to Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are greatly appreciated. Services will be held at a later date.
