BELAIR, Grace Mary (nee Javenkowski). Grace passed peacefully to Eternal Life on August 19, 2022 at the age of 87. She was the loving wife of (the late) Ronald E. Belair for 64 years. Cherished mother of Peter (Karen), Philip (Sue), Julie, and Kathleen (Tim Manuele). Beloved grandmother of Daniel (Stephanie) and Jonathan, Lauren (Brody) and Jessica, Justin and Madeline, and Jacob (dec'd), Jeremy and Angela. Great grandmother to Mason, Daniel and Wesley, Zoe and Piper. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Born in Milwaukee in 1935, Grace was "the baby" of proud Polish southside parents, with three elder sisters and one brother. From a small age she played the accordion, later developing talents in painting, weaving, sewing, singing and baking. She attended Mercy High School and worked as a bank teller for many years. As a devout Roman Catholic, Grace showed her family the meaning of love and the importance of faith.
Grace's marriage to Ron was one of commitment, strength and dreams. Retiring in beautiful Three Lakes, WI was a life-long vision they realized together, later moving back to the Milwaukee area. Living in Muskego after Ron's passing, she took on his avid passion for the Milwaukee Brewers, wearing team jerseys and watching every game she could! Did someone say "brandy old-fashioned?" Sure! It was undoubtedly her favorite occasional drink!
Grace loved life, family and God and was the glue that held her us together. Life will never be the same; she will be greatly missed.
You are invited to join Grace's family in a celebration of life. Visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at St Martin of Tours,7933 S 116th St, Franklin, WI from 11AM-12PM with Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM.
