Loving father of Lisa (Greg) Piontek, Christine (Keith) Wichman and David (Sheri) Rasmussen. Cherished grandfather of Jacob Piontek (Sara Ford), Eric (Tara) Wichman and Andrew (Kristi) Wichman. Dear great-grandfather of Emery, Jack, Owen and another great-grandson on the way. Further survived by his treasured nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Friday, August 26, 2016 from 10AM 12 Noon. Funeral Services at 12 Noon followed by Military Honors. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Gordon was born in raised in Racine. In his youth he was a member of the Racine Ski Team, The Racine Drum & Bugle Corps and the Danish Brotherhood. A U.S. Army veteran, Gordon proudly serving his country in Word War II and was a member of Harvey R. Hansen Post #310, American Legion in Racine. Gordon was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and shared the gift of his voice in the church choir.
