Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2009 age 87 years. Beloved husband for 61 years of Sophie. Loving father of Lois (Michael) Gerard and Barbara Kjer (Allen Gaurkee). Cherished grandpa of Mathew Gerard (Diana Eaton) and Brian Schweinert. Dear great-grandpa of Ian Gerard. Preceded in death by his sister Gertrude (the late Gilbert) Bieber and brother David Kjer.
