Anderson, Gordon F. Born to Eternal Life July 19, 2023 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Ellen (nee Berg). Cherished father of John (Sherry) Anderson, Jason (Kristi) Anderson, Brenda Anderson and Donna (Vince) Blegen. Beloved grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-granchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Friday, July 28, 2023 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at PRINCE OF PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4419 S. Howell Ave.. Funeral Service to follow, at 11AM. Committal Wednesday, August 2, at 11AM at SOUTHERN WISCONSIN VETERANS MEMORIAL CEMETERY, 21731 Spring St, Union Grove.

Gordie was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on January 21, 1936 and attended Ironwood High School and Gogebic Junior College. He served two years in the National Guard and four years in the Air Force. He married Ellen (nee Berg) on June 18, 1977. Gordie retired from Consolidated Freightways after 29 years. He enjoyed his cottage on the Cisco Chain in Upper Michigan. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and he coached and managed Little League Baseball for 12 years and won several championships. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his little buddies Finn and Alexis.
