She was a wonderful all-around cook but she was most known for her authentic Nicaraguan food. Gloria's passion was food and seeing the pleasure that her cooking brought to others. She united people with her food. Her home was always full of friends and relatives that loved her cooking. Gloria immigrated to the United States 30 years ago and retired from Maurer's Bakery in Muskego. Gloria's faith in Christ was a major part of her life and was a long-time member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church were she of course shared her cooking skills with the church. Gloria was a hard worker for all of her life and will be remembered fondly for her never ending effort. She will be remembered for her smile, her love, and her big sense of humor. Her filter was rarely in place.
