Obituary

Glenn Michael Borkowski

Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Age of 61 years. Cherished husband and best friend of Vicky (nee Krajac). Loving Dad of Shea (Cory) and Jake (Beca). Adored Stepdad of Jacob Wojtecki. Treasured grandpa of Remy, Kira and Dez. Dear son of Robert (the late Camille) Borkowski. Loving brother of Deb (Dave) Jost and Neil (Theresa) Borkowski. Glenn is also preceded by his grandparents Bruno and Regina Borkowski and Doris Jason. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, military colleagues and his faithful four-legged companion Tater Tot. His best furry friend Ripley recently passed away. Glenn loved her deeply; she was always by his side.

Glenn was born in Milwaukee and raised in Oak Creek. He was a 1982 graduate of Oak Creek High School. Later that year, Glenn enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served until February 1985. He further served our country in the Wisconsin Air National Guard (WANG) at the 128th Air Refueling Wing as part of the Security Forces Squadron. During that time Glenn was deployed multiple times and was exceptionally proud of his role in Operation Enduring Freedom. He retired from the 128th in July of 2004 as a Master Sergeant. Glenn was also a proud former employee of Harley-Davidson. While working there he purchased his first and only Road King Classic. After 10 years at Harley-Davidson, Glenn returned to school and earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Afterwards, he entered the federal work force and most recently worked with the U.S. Forest Service.

Throughout his life Glenn enjoyed traveling with the love of his life Vicky. They loved traveling the Caribbean Islands of Jamaica and St. Lucia, Mexico, Hawaii and Italy. On his travels he enjoyed scuba diving as often as he could. Competitive by nature Glenn enjoyed being physically fit, he completed the Tough Mudder, and the Bataan Memorial Death March in White Sands with his son Shea, he also competed in the Spartan Race. He loved Harley rides with his friends, entertaining family and friends, watching all of Wisconsin's Sports Teams and playing bags, pool and foosball with a cigar and glass of bourbon in hand.

Glenn will be remembered for his love of family, especially his grand kids, his willingness to help anyone at any time, his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone about anything, his drive and determination and his immaculate yard.
